There's a one-time sourcing fee paid upfront at checkout — that's what kicks off the work. We screen, interview, and reference-check candidates from our vetted network. Freelancer rates are separate and paid directly to whoever you hire. You'll see the exact amount on the final step of the brief, before any payment.
What happens right after I pay?+
A sourcing strategist reads your brief within hours and sourcing starts the same day. For larger briefs, your strategist will call you to confirm the details and walk you through who we're lining up — so the shortlist lands exactly on target. Smaller briefs we run straight from the form, no call needed.
How do I get the shortlist?+
It lands in your customer portal — a private page with each candidate's photo, role, location, hourly rate, project quote, and a 'why we matched them' note. For high-value briefs, your sourcing strategist gets on a call to walk you through the shortlist and help you pick. You stay in control of every decision — we just make sure you're never doing it alone.
What if I don't like any of the candidates?+
Satisfaction guaranteed. If the shortlist doesn't fit your brief, tell your sourcing strategist and we'll re-run the search or refund the sourcing fee — no questions, no forms, no friction. We'd rather refund than send you bad candidates.
How long until I have my shortlist?+
Most briefs are filled in 48 hours from payment. The longest we've taken is a week, for specialised niche roles. We'll tell you upfront if your brief looks like an outlier.
What roles do you source for?+
Engineering (full-stack, backend, mobile, data), product design, brand design, video & motion, performance marketing, data engineering, technical writing. If you're unsure, just ask in the brief.
Can I use my own contracts and payment terms?+
Yes. You sign your own agreements and pay your hire however you want. Your sourcing strategist stays available to help you compare candidates and close the right one — we don't disappear after the shortlist.
How do you vet candidates?+
Multi-step: technical screening for engineers, portfolio + craft interview for designers, paid work-sample tests for marketers. Plus reference checks with previous clients. We only forward candidates we'd hire ourselves.
